White Paper on Talent Management & Offshoring

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

One of the biggest challenges facing businesses in Ireland today is recruiting high performing professionals to join their organisation.

In 2007, Talent Partners published a White Paper on the Competition for Talent in the Irish marketplace, and the importance of this subject meant that the research findings were published in numerous Irish business publications. We are now commencing our research for the 2008 White Paper, this years survey will be carried out online and we expect to have the White Paper published by the end of October.

The 2008 White Paper focuses on Talent Management and the challenges to identify, recruit and retain high performers for businesses in Ireland, and we have also added a new section to the survey this year, which focuses on off-shoring, and its impact on the business environment in Ireland. To receive the web-link to access the survey please email Stephen@talentpartners.ie.

We look forward to your participation in this survey, the 2007 White Paper was the first comprehensive study of Talent Management that focused purely on the Irish marketplace and our expectation is that the 2008 White Paper will be another comprehensive report on Talent Management and Off-shoring in today’s business environment in Ireland.

Exclusive community for business executive’s in Ireland

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

I came in contact with Karina Heavey through linkedin, and she told me about a group that she has established solely for Irish business executives. In Karina’s words, the group has been established to be a platform to exchange ideas, real world experiences and challenges in the field with you peers.

Karin is hoping that members can extract as much value as possible from this group and has asked members and potential members for their feedback as to the best ways to grow and develop the group. The 121 Business Network website can be accessed at www.121biznet.com/. If you are looking to strengthen your profile in the Irish business community, this might be a very interesting group for you to join!
